Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultant (Occasional Office Visits Required) based in the United States.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and implementation partner, helping federal clients successfully adopt and optimize mission-critical software solutions. You will work directly with stakeholders to understand business processes, translate requirements into system configurations, and ensure smooth deployment and adoption of technology-driven solutions. This position blends consulting, technical implementation, and client engagement in a highly structured federal environment where accuracy, compliance, and clarity are essential. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and system setup to testing, training, and post-implementation support. The role offers exposure to complex government contracting workflows and provides the opportunity to directly improve efficiency and decision-making in public sector operations. This is a client-facing position requiring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset. While primarily remote, occasional office visits and in-person collaboration are required to support key engagements.
- Partner with clients to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support implementation and integration of enterprise software solutions.
- Support full lifecycle project delivery, including configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
- Translate client business objectives into actionable system requirements and ensure successful alignment with platform capabilities.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to define project goals, manage expectations, and address risks, issues, and escalations.
- Deliver advisory and consulting services that ensure clients maximize value from software solutions and related services.
- Assist in system configuration and integration tasks while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project scope.
- Conduct user training sessions and support change management to ensure successful adoption of tools and processes.
- Monitor task execution to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and within budget expectations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, documentation, and consulting practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in software implementation, system configuration, business process analysis, testing, training, or software support.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience is strongly preferred, ideally in a structured or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of business process workflows, system implementation lifecycles, and enterprise software delivery.
- Experience working with government contracting, procurement, or federal operational environments is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a service-oriented and solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, adapt to changing requirements, and work independently in remote settings.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- U.S. citizenship may be required and candidates may be subject to security clearance requirements.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- Fully remote work structure with occasional in-person office visits (travel expenses covered).
- Opportunity to work on mission-critical federal and government-focused technology solutions.
- Structured onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development in federal consulting and software implementation.
- Exposure to complex government contracting and procurement environments.
- Career growth opportunities within a specialized and high-impact consulting domain.
- Collaborative and mission-driven work culture focused on delivering measurable client value.
- Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage and additional employee support programs.
