Surface Diamond Drillers & Driller Assistants – All Levels, FIFO
Hecla’s Keno Hill surface exploration program is recruiting experienced drillers and driller assistants for diamond core drilling in Canada’s Yukon Territory throughout the rest of 2026. These are camp-based, rotational positions on one of the world’s highest-grade silver districts. Drilling crews are employed through Hecla’s drilling contractor (Major Drilling); Hecla manages this posting and refers suitable candidates.
The Role
Fly-in fly-out and rotational, with a maximum 28 consecutive days on site. Drilling runs 24/7 across day and night shifts. Camp accommodation and meals at Flat Creek camp are provided, and travel to and from site is arranged from Whitehorse, by charter to Mayo and shuttle to site.
Site ExpectationsThe camp and entire property are strictly drug- and alcohol-free. Everyone on site is expected to work safely and in line with Hecla’s health, safety and environmental standards, including identifying and reporting hazards, using and maintaining PPE, and reporting spills and incidents immediately.
