Job Description:
ELLKAY is seeking a strategic and results-oriented HR leader to drive the people agenda for our Ahmedabad office. The Director – Human Resources will serve as a key business partner to leadership, responsible for aligning HR strategies with organizational goals while fostering a high-performance, employee-centric culture.
This role will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, compliance, policy and procedure, workforce planning, and administration.
Essential Duties& Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with local leadership and US HR team to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and capability-building initiatives.
- Lead strategic HR projects, transformation programs, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Talent & Culture
- Build and sustain a high-performance, values-driven culture.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, recognition, and employee experience programs.
- Lead talent acquisition strategies and employer branding efforts to attract top talent.
Performance & Development
- Oversee the organization's Performance Management System (PMS).
- Lead goal-setting, performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations
- Manage compensation, benefits, rewards, payroll governance, and market benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and governance requirements.
- Lead employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy administration
- Oversee HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
Administration & Business Operations
- Lead administration, facilities management, workplace operations, and vendor relationships.
- Manage HROP budgets, headcount planning, and people-related financial forecasting.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams on organizational initiatives and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- 12–18+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Strong expertise across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and Compliance.
- Experience supporting high-growth technology, SaaS, healthcare technology, or product-based organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational transformation, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
- Experience with HR technology platforms, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
