Join Feast BBQ and be part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, fun environment. As a Shift Leader 1 – Back of House (BOH), you’ll play a key role in ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly, food quality remains consistent, and service standards are upheld.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on ability in every BOH station, with the capacity to perform all tasks associated with BOH 1 and BOH 2.
Lead and motivate kitchen staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
Report to the Assistant General Manager or General Manager and maintain clear, effective, and hospitable communication at all times.
Identify bulk carryout and catering orders and communicate prep and ordering needs to ensure orders can be fulfilled on schedule.
Support new team member training using supplied materials; communicate key aspects clearly and confirm retention of information through follow-up.
Provide feedback and performance guidance to team members in a timely, respectful, and hospitable manner.
Motivate all FOH and BOH team members to work collaboratively to ensure food and service meet company standards.
Ensure completion of opening, mid-shift, and closing duties according to Feast’ standards; verify checklist completion and sign-off each shift.
Maintain Health Department certification and ensure compliance with all food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Analyze and solve problems that arise during shifts and communicate solutions via 7shifts or to management.
Assist with inventory counts, compile basic order lists, and communicate needs to Shift Leader 2, AGM, or GM.
Maintain and delegate daily cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks to ensure kitchen sanitation and readiness.
Ensure safe handling and service of food and alcohol while minimizing waste.
Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and adherence to appearance standards.
Support the leadership team in developing and implementing methods to increase sales and guest retention.
Represent Royals at offsite catering events as needed, upholding company standards and hospitality.
Embody and enforce company culture, quality expectations, and respectful communication at all times.
Proven proficiency and time spent in BOH stations
Prior experience leading, training, or mentoring team members preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Effective communicator with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and positive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Stand, bend, and move throughout shifts (up to 8 hours).
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Work in a hot and occasionally noisy environment.
Morning, day, and evening shifts available.
Full-time.
$14 per hour (average $20-$24/hour with tips)
