Microsoft Platforms Delivery Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft Platforms Delivery Director based in United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of Microsoft platform and business application programs across complex, enterprise client environments. You will oversee large-scale engagements, ensuring successful execution from planning through delivery while maintaining strict control over scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
You will act as a trusted advisor to client executives, translating business objectives into scalable Microsoft-based solutions and structured delivery roadmaps.
The role requires strong leadership across cross-functional teams including architects, consultants, and developers, ensuring alignment and consistent execution in a matrixed consulting environment.
You will play a key role in managing escalations, removing delivery roadblocks, and maintaining strong communication with senior stakeholders and client sponsors.
Beyond delivery oversight, you will contribute to business growth through client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and support in shaping proposals and solution strategies.
This position is ideal for a seasoned consulting leader with deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise and a strong track record of delivering complex transformation programs.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft platform and business applications engagements across multiple enterprise clients and industries.
  • Oversee program execution including scope, schedule, budget, quality control, and risk management across large-scale projects.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective Microsoft-based delivery strategies and solutions.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams of consultants, architects, and technical resources to ensure successful implementation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and internal leadership on delivery strategy and operational excellence.
  • Manage escalations, remove delivery blockers, and ensure clear, consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts through delivery excellence, proposal contributions, and solution shaping activities.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies and promote continuous improvement across engagements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 8 years leading enterprise technology delivery programs.
  • Strong experience delivering Microsoft platform or business application solutions in complex client environments.
  • Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle responsibilities including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams in client-facing consulting environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or related enterprise solutions (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and enterprise change management practices (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • US Citizenship required for this role.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model and travel to client sites as needed.
