Social Creative Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Creative Manager based in Canada.

The Social Creative Manager will play a key role in developing engaging social content that connects audiences with impactful brand stories. This position focuses on transforming creative strategies into compelling visuals, messaging, and multimedia experiences across social platforms. You will combine cultural awareness, creative thinking, and strategic insight to create content that stands out in fast-moving digital environments. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with creative teams, influence content direction, and bring innovative ideas to life. You will work across formats including short-form video, written content, and visual storytelling while using performance insights to continuously improve results. Accountabilities:

The Social Creative Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing creative social content strategies while collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences. The role requires a strong balance of creative execution, strategic thinking, and the ability to quickly adapt to emerging trends and audience behaviors.

  • Translate brand and campaign strategies into engaging social content across LinkedIn, short-form video, carousels, and written formats.
  • Develop creative concepts and content ideas that reflect a distinctive brand perspective and resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor cultural trends, industry conversations, and social platforms to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content.
  • Create and refine visual concepts, messaging, and storytelling approaches across multiple digital formats.
  • Collaborate with content creators and social teams to develop briefs, improve execution quality, and deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Contribute creative perspectives during content planning and strategy discussions.
  • Use audience insights and performance data to optimize creative decisions and improve engagement.
  • Balance speed and quality when producing reactive content based on current trends and conversations.
  • Support the development of innovative approaches to social storytelling and brand communication.
  • Work effectively with distributed teams across different locations and time zones.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience creating social content, combining creative execution with strategic thinking and a strong understanding of digital audiences. Success in this role requires excellent storytelling abilities, familiarity with social trends, and the ability to produce high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

  • 4–5+ years of experience in social content creation, creative social, content production, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an agency environment or roles combining strategy and hands-on creative execution is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital culture, and content trends.
  • Ability to create compelling written content, including engaging captions and messaging.
  • Experience developing visual concepts and collaborating on video and multimedia content.
  • Ability to think creatively while contributing strategic ideas and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed, global team environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
