At DoubleTree by Hilton Tucson Reid Park, we believe outstanding hospitality is delivered around the clock. We are seeking a dependable, service-focused Part-Time Night Auditor & Guest Service Agent to support both our overnight audit operations and evening front desk team.
This flexible role combines two overnight Night Audit shifts each week with additional PM Guest Service Agent shifts as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with guests, works well independently, and possesses strong attention to detail and accuracy.
The Part-Time Night Auditor & Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while supporting front desk operations during both evening and overnight shifts. This position completes nightly audit procedures, reconciles hotel transactions, assists guests throughout their stay, and helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient hotel operation.
During overnight shifts, the team member serves as the primary front desk representative responsible for completing the nightly audit process and preparing daily financial reports. During PM shifts, the team member assists with guest arrivals, departures, reservations, guest requests, and overall front office operations.
- Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and service needs.
- Resolve guest issues while maintaining a positive and hospitable experience.
- Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system.
- Support seamless communication between departments through accurate shift documentation.
- Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily hotel transactions.
- Accurately post room charges, taxes, and incidental expenses to guest accounts.
- Balance cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Verify accuracy of room revenue, outlet revenue, and daily postings.
- Run occupancy, availability, and revenue reports.
- Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports to department leaders.
- Ensure a smooth transition to the morning shift.
- Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for safety and security matters.
- Monitor property activity and report potential concerns to Management.
- Follow all emergency procedures, key control policies, safety standards, and MSDS guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front office and back-office areas.
- Replenish guest coffee and water stations as needed.
- Complete all required logs, checklists, and administrative documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and productive throughout overnight hours.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to use computer systems and office equipment for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform routine front desk and administrative duties throughout the shift.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably within hospitality.
- Front desk experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Strong guest service and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience operating a multi-line phone system.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work flexible schedule consisting of overnight Night Audit shifts and PM shifts Front Desk shifts.
- Ability to transition between guest service and accounting related responsibilities.
- Previous Night Audit experience.
- Knowledge of hotel accounting and audit procedures.
- Experience with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, or other full-service hotel brands.
- Familiarity with Hilton systems including:
- PEP PMS or OnQ
- Hilton Lobby
- Hilton Honors
