2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (M-F 3p-11:10p) at MEIWA Industry North America Inc – Lewisburg, Tennessee

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties as directed to install, troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain production and other facility equipment and systems either as needed or according to established schedules to support production and other company operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Install and maintain production equipment and other facility equipment.
-Provide emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment during production time.
-Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, machines and other systems within the facility.
-Perform applicable maintenance skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and others appropriate to the task at hand.
-Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, diagrams, work orders and other documents to perform needed maintenance or service.
-Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.
-Properly use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and other tools/equipment while performing duties.
-Comply with all company policies with emphasis on those involving safety.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High School diploma or GED.
-5+ years’ experience in general industrial maintenance.
-Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and related drawings and diagrams.
-Basic knowledge of safety/OSHA related subjects.
-Knowledge of physical structure construction basics, codes, inspection and repair.
-Demonstrated ability to analyze non-standard situations (troubleshoot) and implement effective actions, adjustments and/or repairs.

While performing this job, the employee will routinely be required to stand; walk the entire distance of the plant multiple times per shift; stoop, bend, reach with hands/arms and assume a variety of other physical positions; use hands/fingers to operate a variety of maintenance equipment; lift/carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally work at heights requiring fall protection; specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus; appropriate personal protective equipment must be constantly worn in all required areas.
