About This Position
Work Conditions:
Please be informed that our Individuals are developmentally disabled. At times they may become aggressive and /or violent. While the Agency does provide specialized training for handling residents when they become aggressive and/or violent, the Agency cannot guarantee the safety of its employees who come in contact with residents. This condition exists whether the employee is directly or indirectly assigned to residents. Employees assume the risk of working with our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible to ensure that all individuals are receiving quality services commensurate with their needs including:
- Implementing and managing the completion of the Quality Assurance evaluations of each designated program.
- Providing training and technical assistance to Managers, Habilitation Specialist/Instructor, Clinicians and/or other staff in the areas necessary to maintain program compliance and quality services to individuals.
- Ensuring compliance with State and Federal Regulations and agency policy and procedures through site visits, client interviews and look behind reviews. Based upon findings, monitor implementation of corrective action for all individuals.
- Ensuring individuals’ needs are being met through meaningful programming and assessments on a 24 hours basis in assigned programs.
- Performing outcome oriented Q.A. internal survey at each site. Essential tasks at surveys will include: staff/consumer interactions, observation of goal implementation and review of total plan of care.
- Ensuring that all Individuals’ needs are being met, perform site visits and Q.A. training at multiple settings.
- Completing all other task as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Related Field.
- Experience working with mentally retarded/developmentally disabled adults.
- Working knowledge of State and Federal Regulations.
