About This Position
Pediatric Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Sacramento, CA.
Pediatric Medical Associates is comprised of 11 pediatric practices in Northern California providing exceptional medical care for children throughout the greater Sacramento area. From newborns to young adults, we offer comprehensive quality-focused services. Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians, experienced Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. We are located in Sacramento, Folsom, Tulare and Napa. The Sacramento region offers the perfect blend of affordability, opportunity, and adventure — from family-friendly neighborhoods and top-rated schools to a vibrant food scene and endless outdoor recreation.
Position Overview:
- Full-time - 5 day work week with no weekends
- Opening at the East Sacramento office due to retirement
- Optional newborn rounding
- Rotated Call Schedule - 1:12 weeks
- EMR: EPIC
- $50,000 Residency Stipend

Education, Licensure & Certification:
- M.D. or D.O. degree required
- Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
- Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of California
- Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of California
- Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatricswithin five years of completing training
- Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for hospital privileges

The expected base salary range for this position located in California is $250,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role. In addition to base salary, the Pediatrics Associates Family of Companies and its affiliates offers a comprehensive benefits package, potential incentive and recognition programs, and retirement planning (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements based on position, and division).
