Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 per year Commensurate with experience and the AXIS full-time salary equivalent. Position includes retirement benefits through Colorado Public Employee Retirement Association (copera.org) as well as option for health benefits.

Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative Elementary English Language Arts Teacher to join our innovative dual language immersion model. In this role, you will teach literacy, language arts, science, and social studies in English to two cohorts of students. All curriculum is evidence-based and aligned with the Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) program.
You will collaborate closely with a math teacher and a partner language teacher (Spanish, French, or Chinese), each responsible for teaching complementary subjects to the same students during alternating times of day. Teachers have dedicated daily planning and collaboration time during math instruction.
Grade-level assignments are flexible, and candidate preferences may be considered
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- English proficiency
- Previous teaching experience or experience working with children
- Colorado teaching license, not required but encouraged
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in English Language Arts, science, and social studies
- Collaborate with co-teachers, leadership, and specialists to support student achievement
- Use data and informal assessments to guide and differentiate instruction
- Support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Implement research-based strategies and backward design for instructional planning
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families
- Participate in school duties (arrival, dismissal, etc.) and events
- Engage in professional development aligned with school goals
