About This Position
Responsibilities Include:
- Screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
- Conduct application information sessions for screened applicants using a company established briefing.
- Facilitate interviews with company hiring managers and the candidates who move forward in the interview process.
- Update the company recruiting spreadsheet.
- Provide company management email updates on recruiting efforts.
- Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates and build talent networks and pipelines. This may include social and professional networking sites, resume mining, outreach efforts, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other advertisements as needed.
- Draft and manage job postings for the company’s website and Linked-in. The company’s webmaster will do the actual posting.
Assist with New Employee Onboarding:
- Initiate authorization for required background screening and/or credential clearance.
- Coordinate, monitor, and track new hires to ensure all the necessary onboarding paperwork is completed.
- Assist in preparing new hire packets, as needed.
Assist with client credentialing:
- Enter new hires into the client’s Fieldglass credential database.
- Prepare new hire worker roster.
- Coordinate new hire submission of their clearance paperwork.
- Full lifecycle ownership of the NBIS process.
Perform other HR job-related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of administrative experience.
- Superb client service and professional communication skills (both oral and written).
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines while staying organized.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Skills in calendar management and scheduling
- Comfortable working with hiring managers and individuals at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HR principles specific to talent acquisition.
- Some experience working in talent acquisition
- Experience with NBIS process
- 1+ years of recruiting experience
