Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic
POSITION PURPOSE The Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic position in the medical office/clinic setting will provide direct and indirect patient care and is responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, developing and implementing care plans, educating patients on their health conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care, all while maintaining accurate patient records and upholding high standards of clinical practice. MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications Experience:

MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications Experience:
- No previous experience required.
- Associate (ADN), Bachelor (BSN) or Master (MSN) degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current and valid nursing license in the State of New Mexico, or compact state; maintained current throughout employment.
- Possess a strong professional, personable, and motivational personality that builds strong relationships with patients.
- Strong knowledge and interest in current techniques, advancements, and trends in the field of ambulatory care.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with practice leadership, physicians, advanced practitioners, colleagues, and other HCMC and TPS team members.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all members of the care team, and with patients and family members.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and maintained throughout employment.
