DevOps Engineer – Medical Technology at VBB – Nashua, New Hampshire

Location: Greater Boston Area (Hybrid: Tue–Thu in office)

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our 5-person DevOps team driving innovation in the medical technology space. This role will lead efforts to migrate our product from data centers to Azure cloud infrastructure, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems.

• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Windows Server environments.

• Administer VMware vCenter/vSphere and Hyper-V virtual infrastructure.

• Provide Linux administration expertise (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).

• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and Terragrunt.

• Deploy and manage workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Improve monitoring and reliability with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Checkmk/Nagios.

• Strengthen system security using CrowdStrike, Nessus, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and other scanning tools.

• Automate tasks and streamline processes with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

• 7+ years of DevOps/Systems Engineering experience.

• Strong skills in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, VMware, Hyper-V.

• Hands-on Linux administration.

• Proven track record with CI/CD management (TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

• Cloud migration experience, ideally with Azure.

• Solid scripting and automation skills.

• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
