About This Position
Job Summary:
The Executive Director will have the overall responsibility for managing the facility’s mission and vision and the ability to engage in strategic decision-making in addition to day-to-day management. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and directing assigned programs and services, promoting continuous improvement in quality, utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate conflict resolution and complaint procedures regarding employees and clients.
• Attend Management Meetings.
• Maintain employee files.
• Responsible for assessment of candidates for employment, coordination of onboarding, orientation, training, supervision, evaluation, and discipline for department employees. Actively partners with the Human Resources Department on these activities.
• Review and analyze reports and records related to the operation and delivery of services.
• Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization.
• Maintain all administrative and financial systems of the organization, ensuring reports and documentation are accurate and completed for required deadlines.
• Delegate duties where appropriate
• Ensure that all the organization’s policies and procedures are up to date and stored in HATCH.
• Participate in networking and community relations activities on behalf of the organization.
• Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, funders, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization.
• Promote community awareness of the organization and its programs.
• Identify and evaluate the risks to the organization’s clients, staff, management, property, finances, goodwill and image and implement measures to control risks.
• Monitor employees to make sure work is being done safely and in compliance with the organization’s policy and procedure.
• Prepare and maintain complete, accurate financial records, including accounts payable, fee statements, receipts, petty cash, bank statements, bank deposits.
• Responds to and effectively manage complaints related to harassment in the workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations

Education/Experience/Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or health administration, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• A flexible work schedule may require you to work late and weekend hours.
• Refined and well-organized multi-tasking skills.
• Practical oral and written communication skills and abilities.
• Experience managing a business or demonstrated ability to manage a department for 2+ years.
