PART TIME CLAIMS PAYMENT CLERK at Cadence Innovations Group – South Jordan, Utah

Job Purpose:

Do you care about accuracy and demonstrate a strong attention to detail? The Cadence Accounts Payable team is looking for someone like you! The Automotive Claims Payment Clerk is responsible for issuing payments on approved claims to repair facilities, parts vendors, inspection companies and contract holders. This is a part time position - we are looking to fill a morning and an afternoon shift, not to exceed 25 hours per week.

All work is time sensitive and managed through a phone queue and email. Some accounting experience is preferred; accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

• Review approved claims and match them with incoming invoices to issue payments to Repair Facilities
• Take calls from Repair Facilities concerning issues with the invoice and/or payment
• Contact repair facilities with any issues that may slow down or hinder payment
• Work as a flexible team player to meet accounting goals and objectives
• Additional job-related responsibilities as requested by management

What Alpha Warranty will love about you:

• 1-2 years prior work experience
• Accounting clerk experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong typing, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to quickly adapt to new and emerging technologies
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Word experience required
• Basic Internet Navigation skills required
• Ability to work in an office environment daily and sit for extended periods of time working at a desk
