About This Position

Job Summary:

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is seeking a board-certified/eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP) to join the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology in the Department of Cardiology. The successful applicant will join a team of 4 other EP physicians and 4 nurse practitioners, and help expand coverage at our network sites.

Successful applicants should be proficient in catheter ablations (SVT, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia/PVC), cardiac device implantation, and in clinical EP. He/she should also have scholarly research commensurate with appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level at the New York Medical College.

The Department of Cardiology is part of the WMCHealth Network, the only quaternary care medical center in the Hudson Valley, providing the full spectrum cardiovascular care including endocardial and epicardial catheter ablations, pacemaker/ICD lead extractions, left atrial appendage occlusion device implants, advanced heart failure care, percutaneous procedures for structural heart disease, and advanced imaging, and offers the full range of cardiothoracic surgery (including cardiac transplant) and vascular surgery services to patients of all ages.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Active or eligibility to obtain New York State License
  • Completed ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills required
