Adjunct Faculty (RN), School of Nursing Southern Campus at RWJBarnabas Health – Oceanport, New Jersey

Job Overview: We are seeking a faculty member to teach in a pre-licensure nursing program. Responsibilities include clinical and classroom teaching, test and curriculum development, faculty committee support, and student advisement. Continuing education and development to attain or maintain Nurse Educator competencies are expected. Faculty members are role models for professional nursing and adhere to the Faculty Code of Conduct. The School of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education and is approved by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing. This position will support our campus in Oceanport, New Jersey. The anticipated hire date is Fall 2025.

Qualifications:

• A New Jersey RN License is required.
• An MA or MS in Nursing is required; a Doctorate preferred.
• Two (2) years of patient care experience is required.
• Two (2) years of nursing education experience in any setting required; waived for an MSN with a major in Education.
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Nurse Educator Clinical (CNE cl) preferred.
• CNE certificate required within 5 years of hire.
