Scheduler at Silicon Valley Medical Development – San Jose, California

Silicon Valley Medical Development is currently seeking a talented Scheduler to join our growing healthcare team in Santa Clara County!

Pay: $27.85-$29.26/ hour

Location: San Jose, CA

Shift: M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., rotate Saturdays and may open Sundays

Silicon Valley Medical Development is recruiting full-time Schedulers for our El Camino Health Multi-Specialty Care outpatient practices located in San Jose, CA.

The Scheduler creates and schedules patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner. He/she facilitates communications throughout the medical practice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year experience in a medical office or outpatient/ambulatory care organization
• At least one (1) year experience of medical terminology required
• Word processing and computer experience
• Experience working with an EMR
• Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
• Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
• Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
• Ability to perform basic math
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task in order to complete assignments within the time allotted to maintain standard workflow
• Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative and willing to assist others
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
