About This Position
The Senior Physical Therapist is an experienced Physical Therapist who has strong clinical and interpersonal skills. This person is responsible for enhancing departmental success through participating in up at least one area of specialty (marketing, quality/performance improvement, patient satisfaction, etc.) as well as provide training to new staff and students, provide at least 2 continuing education session for staff annually and maintains strong productivity levels, low cancellation/no show rates and high patient satisfaction. These duties are in addition to managing individualized, goal directed physical therapy care through use of physical therapy processes and principles in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and within the Scope of Practice Act for the State of Alaska.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
- 5 years of Medical/ Healthcare Physical Therapy
- Alaska Physical Therapy Licensure
- 125 ormore Clinical Continuing Education Units by an approved Certifying Agency (CEUs)
- BLSP (CPR)
- ACLS
