The OPPORTUNITY:
As Total Rewards Specialist for Quantum Design you will support and manage compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and reward top talent at Quantum Design while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing diverse compensation and benefits programs including base pay, short-term incentives, and sales commissions across multiple geographies, including international and multi-state environments. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day process and shape programs from the ground up, implementing innovative solutions, and growing professionally as our compensation function evolves. Your deep expertise in all things compensation will be critical as you build our global job architecture, ensure all jobs have an appropriate benchmark, and confirm that employees are leveled correctly in the U.S. and around the world. Your keen attention to detail will ensure accurate and complete reporting of data and your excellent communication skills will be key as you coach leaders on how to handle various compensation and benefits conversations.

YOU WILL:
- Working with HR, Finance and business leaders, manage the organization's global compensation program and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Build and maintain the company's global job architecture and ensure appropriate benchmarks for each job
- Conduct job evaluations and leveling exercises to ensure all employees are classified and leveled appropriately
- Prepare and own the complete survey submission process
- Conduct internal pay equity reviews and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness; oversee pay equity reporting
- Advise and educate people leaders on best practices related to making and communicating compensation decisions
- Oversee the creation of job descriptions and maintenance of QD's job description database and job profiles in our HRIS
- Design and build compensation metrics, reports, and tools to inform compensation program decisions and forecast/analyze compensation outcomes
- Develop and document procedures to streamline compensation processes
- Track global employee benefits programs ensuring alignment with employee needs, company culture, affordability and market competitiveness
- Ensure compensation and benefits compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory governances and regional regulation. Lead annual compliance reviews and reporting, including OFCCP and EEO-1 reporting
- Support and drive annual employee compensation planning activities that are integrated with performance management processes, including the salary increase review cycle, bonus. promotions, bonus, and market adjustments
- Maintain current knowledge of compensation trends and regulations. Make recommendations for needed changes to existing programs, policies, and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources required or a related field with 5+ years of related experience
- A minimum of (3) years of experience in a role dedicated to compensation
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, modeling, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and research skills
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, visualize, and draw conclusions from complex data sets
- In-depth knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, wage compliance, total rewards, salary benchmarking and compensation structures
- A track record of setting up and administering complex compensation plans with multiple components, such as commissions and bonus variable compensation plans
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling complex financial and process data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work at all levels within the organization
- Must exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
- An eye for continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Ability to work onsite at our Sorrento Valley campus
