Dentist at Alliance Community Healthcare – Jersey City, New Jersey

To provide patients with high quality oral health to patients of all ages, is proficient in performing regular checkups and complex dental procedures and is committed to the highest quality of patient care.

Base Salary: $134,000.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate or participate in training and orientation programs as needed.
• Participate in organizational committees to ensure quality improvement, dental management.
• Accomplishes dentistry using pharmacological adjuncts depending on individual circumstances and dentist qualifications.
• Consult with the medical staff in cases showing oral manifestations of medical conditions.
• The dentist is available for consultation by the medical staff in cases of oral pathology and other related conditions of common interest.
• Fabricates treatment plan for patients experiencing oral trauma, oral pain, oral infection, and other pathology.
• Conducts a program of preventive dentistry, dental education, and oral hygiene.
• Diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gingiva, mucosa, and related oral structures with reasonable patient acceptable sensitivity.

Requirements:

• DMD/DDS from accredited Dental School and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Valid NJ Dental License. CDS, DEA, and CPR
• Board Certified in Dentistry
• Experience working in a Clincal Environment
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, & organizational skills
