Warehouse Order Selector at Dutch Farms Inc – Chicago, Illinois

• Fulfill daily pick tickets and follow shipping requirements for the customer order.
• Gather and organize the ordered items onto pallets as needed.
• Label/Mark the ordered items properly to avoid missed shipments.
• Prepare and secure the orders for shipping and bring them to the loading area.
• Must be able to prepare multiple customer orders simultaneously and separately.

Requirements Qualification/Profile:

• Previous experience (2-3 years) of order fulfilment within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Seeking serious candidates with a strong work ethic.
• Experience using a pallet jack, electric hand-truck, or forklift to move the product from the main warehouse to the loading area is preferred.
• Must be able to physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
• Must be able to physically push, pull, lift, and rotate. PDL (Physical Demand Limit) generally is at 60 - 70 lbs. Occasional PDL at 100 to 120 lbs. would require a two-person lift.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English to ensure the proper product matching for the customer orders.
• Must have and be able to use basic math skills to ensure a proper count for accurate customer orders prior to shipping.
• Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.
• Excellent attention to detail and common sense in daily activities.
• Work in a supportive team environment from all aspects of the Company’s business.
• Works with a minimal amount of supervision and is a productive member of his/her department by adhering to all the Company’s policies.
