What your responsibilities will be as a Histo Tech/Medical Assistant:

• Will assist the doctor to welcome the patient, evaluate the patient and support the doctor in providing excellent care to the patient.
• Travel to other local clinics when needed
• Cutting slides
• Patient intake
• Entry of data into our Electronic Health Record Systems
• Preparing and handling medical supplies, instruments and specimens
• Preparing materials for the Provider
• Keeping the facility and equipment clean and tidy

What we look for:

• Dermatology Medical Assistant experience ( 2+years Required)
• Histology: 1 Year (preferred)
• Laboratory experience (preferred)
• Candidates who have a passion for helping people
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Organized, punctual, detailed oriented and professional at all times
• Works well as a member of the team and able to follow detailed instructions carefully
• Ability to grow and learn new systems
• Fluency in computer systems and a variety of software packages

**May need to assist as a Histo Tech in the Regions clinics.**
