Job Summary This position is responsible for the overall care of an assigned group of children actively working to meet the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a specific age group. Providing a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment when self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged and individuality is respected. This care includes meeting the children’s developmental, physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. Education GED or High School Diploma Required. College level training in Early Childhood Ed or Child development preferred.

Additional Experience Requirements

Childcare center experience and/or formal training required.
Able to communicate effectively with preschool children and adults.
