POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing and Brand Specialist at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital (SMH) plays a role in digital marketing and brand management. This position is responsible for developing, creating, and managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns. This specialist will thrive in a highly collaborative culture and be adept at creating original communications that adhere to an established brand look and feel across multiple channels, including print ads, brochures, magazines, newsletters, digital banner ads, flyers, and signage. The role requires juggling multiple projects and workflows simultaneously with a focus on visual brand alignment. Additionally, the specialist will provide collateral for events and fundraisers held by SMH. The position involves close collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator, other SMH team members, vendors, and management to ensure the hospital's success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/MS degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- 1–3 years of experience with graphic design
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of web publishing an asset (WordPress)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing & Branding:
- Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy
- Provide ongoing brand management utilizing art direction, design and visual identity guidelines to establish a comprehensive brand identity.
- Manage Brand Standards across the organization, ensuring proper use of logo on signage, forms, apparel etc.
- Collaborate and coordinate projects with external printers, ad agencies and photographers, etc. Ensure accuracy and quality of publications and standards for timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create visual concepts for promotional materials using various graphic design tools
- Work with Marketing Coordinator to update weekly Pulse Newsletter internally
- Responsible for publishing a monthly patient newsletter.
- Capture video footage and edit for promotional use
- Managing the digital marketing calendar
- Maintain the online presence and reputation of the hospital
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of social media content
- Track digital marketing performance on Google Ad Words, META, online reviews etc.
- Create and update digital marketing reports
- Keep website content relevant and fresh with new design concepts.
Event Involvement:
- Work with the Marketing Team and other departments to create content that promotes, supports and advertises upcoming events or fundraisers
- Develop collateral to match event concepts and themes, such as posters, menus, brochures, mailers, social media graphics etc.
- May be asked to attend marketing events in the community to promote our services and brand.
