Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Program Director in the implementation, management and oversight of the Thriving Texas Families program, a grant-funded initiative designed to support women and fathers experiencing unexpected pregnancies. Coordinates program operations, reporting, process measures, outcome measures, data analysis and program evaluation. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to manage referrals and ensure navigators work closely with parents to develop a trusting relationship that promotes childbirth and supports families. Additional responsibilities include coordinating activities between the patient navigator, senior community outreach specialist, health educator, social worker, University Health clinical services, and community partners
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ degree in public health, health services, or related field is required. Experience in community health promotion, volunteer activity coordination, or health education in a community setting is preferred. May substitute related experience through graduate education. Master’s degree in public health is preferred. Experience in public speaking and educational presentations demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English/Spanish fluency is strongly desired
