Front Office Specialist at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• Primary Care Office with 12 Providers, located on the West Side of Columbus, 21 exam rooms, and seeing an average of 160 patients per day. Patients range in age from Pediatric to Geriatric.
• The office is open 7AM-7PM; Monday-Thursday and 7AM-5PM Friday, 8AM-12PM Saturdays.
• The Front Office Specialist position has a base hourly rate of $16.00. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This position will require you to work primarily 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday with 1 designated late night per week; Saturday rotation every 7 weeks, 8a-12p.

What is required for this position:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists
