Warehouse Manager at Confidential – Lanse, Michigan

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Primary Job Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Serve as a highly motivated leader and coach.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Create staffing schedules to maintain efficient workflow.
• Manage key operating performance indicators such as overtime, delivery reliability and productivity.
• Analyze financial performance reports to determine business direction.
• Prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all company, state, federal regulations with regards to safety and health standards.
• Manage all distribution safety and security initiatives; ensure zero accidents in the workplace.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse, inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High School/GED.
• 5+ years management experience in a distribution environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites
