Position:
The Forklift & Inventory Operator is responsible for utilizing a stand-up forklift to pick raw materials for production, ensuring consistently accurate inventory counts, and supplying raw materials for the formulation of production in a food manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize standup forklift to pick raw materials required from cold storage and place into staging area for production.
- Assure accurate inventory counts.
- Supply raw materials for the formulation of products.
- Maintain accuracy of perpetual inventory, as well as traceability of product movements within dry storage.
- Shipping customer orders.
- Receiving any raw materials in a safe and high-quality manner.
- Putting frozen or refrigerated finished product into proper location after closed by production.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Stand up forklift experience (within the last 12 months).
- RF scanner experience.
- Ability to work in cold storage areas.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 45 lbs. consistently.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
