The Recon Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory and asset management within the organization. This position is responsible for conducting detailed inspections, audits, and reconciliations of equipment, materials, and supplies to maintain up-to-date records. The Recon Technician collaborates closely with various departments to identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues. By maintaining precise documentation and reporting, this role supports operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Ultimately, the Recon Technician contributes to optimizing resource allocation and minimizing losses, thereby supporting the overall success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, asset reconciliation, or a related technical field.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with advanced inventory control systems and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in warehouse or industrial settings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections and audits of inventory and equipment to verify accuracy against records.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in asset counts, condition, or documentation, and report findings.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to reconcile inventory data and resolve issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all inspections, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve inventory control and asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all reconciliation activities.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing audit results and recommendations to management.
