Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all vendor invoices and payments. The Specialist collaborates closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure proper expense coding across locations. In addition to daily processing tasks, this position contributes to month-end close activities, and helps improve systems and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within the accounts payable/payroll function.

Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Process Invoices Accurately and Efficiently – Review, code, and enter invoices into Business Central (BC), ensuring all supporting documentation and approvals are complete.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships – Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and ensure all accounts are reconciled monthly.
  • Prepare Payments – Process weekly check and ACH runs, verifying accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
  • Reconcile & Review – Perform vendor statement reconciliations and assist with A/P aging reports, accruals, and close procedures.
  • Be Part of a Collaborative Finance Team – Work closely with colleagues across finance and operations to strengthen processes, support transparency, and ensure accuracy organization-wide.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Help enhance automation, document workflows, and strengthen internal controls to increase efficiency and transparency.

Payroll Specialist

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees in a deadline-driven environment
  • Collect, verify and summarize time keeping information to ensure accuracy prior to payroll processing.
  • Input the tip distribution information and other earnings.
  • Manage payroll tax payments and filings (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
  • Process garnishments, child support, and other payroll deductions
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24-$26 per hour DOE
