Join the winning team at Jim Shorkey North Hills Mitsubishi! We are currently hiring a full-time Hourly Service Technician to support our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance services and assisting with basic vehicle inspections while delivering quality work with efficiency and integrity. You’ll play an important role in ensuring vehicle safety, customer satisfaction, and overall shop performance.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes and filter replacements (oil, air, cabin, fuel)
- Inspect vehicles for leaks, wear, and basic mechanical issues
- Check and top off fluids including transmission, coolant, and brake systems
- Perform tire pressure checks, rotations, and inflations
- Install batteries, wiper blades, and other basic components
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs to service advisors and technicians
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer service standards and safety protocols

- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and shop equipment is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening
