Job Summary

The Product Marketing Manager is the senior portfoliolevel marketing leader for OmniOn Powers Core Products business, encompassing boardmounted power, frontend rectifiers (PSUs), and largescale DC power systems for core telecom and optical network infrastructures.

This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining a cohesive, marketaligned narrative and gotomarket approach across the Core Products portfolio. The Manager synthesizes productlevel inputs from multiple senior Product Managers into clear portfolio positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that enable consistent and effective market engagement.

The Manager partners closely with the Core Business Leader, Product Management, Sales, R&D, and Corporate Marketing to ensure OmniOns solutions are positioned clearly and deployed effectively in the market. While Product Managers remain the primary technical and product experts for customer and industry interactions, this role ensures they are supported with strong narrative structure, tools, and alignmentallowing them to lead externally with clarity and confidence.

Success in this role requires deep technical understanding, strong strategic judgment, and the ability to influence crossfunctional teams to deliver disciplined, scalable gotomarket execution across a complex and evolving portfolio. This role will report directly to the SVP of Core Products and will be located at our OmniOn Power HQ in Plano, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Strategy, Positioning, and Narrative Ownership

  • Own the endtoend market narrative for the Core Products portfolio, articulating how OmniOns boardmount, rectifier, and DC power systems work together to address customer needs.

  • Develop and maintain clear portfoliolevel positioning frameworks, value propositions, and messaging that differentiate OmniOn in the market.

  • Translate complex technical architectures and systemlevel tradeoffs into compelling, outcomeoriented stories for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

GotoMarket Leadership and Orchestration
  • Define gotomarket strategies for new and existing products across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and regional requirements.

  • Lead gotomarket orchestration by aligning Product Management, Sales, R&D, and Marketing Communications around launch priorities, roles, and success metrics.

  • Establish launch standards, messaging consistency, and enablement expectations across all Core Products.

Sales Enablement and Field Engagement
  • Ensure the sales organization and channel partners are equipped with highquality, portfoliolevel enablement materials, including presentations, solution briefs, competitive positioning, and customer proof points.

  • Act as a senior resource for key customer engagements, supporting executivelevel discussions and strategic account pursuits.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to ensure consistent articulation of OmniOns value proposition across regions and customer segments.

Market Insight and Competitive Intelligence
  • Synthesize market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence into actionable insights that inform messaging, positioning, and investment priorities.

  • Provide portfoliolevel perspective to influence roadmap discussions by representing the voice of the market, emerging architectures, and evolving customer requirements.

  • Monitor industry dynamics across telecom, optical networking, and infrastructure power to ensure OmniOn remains relevant and differentiated.

Pricing and Commercial Alignment
  • Partner with Product Management and business leadership to support pricing and value strategies, ensuring alignment between customer value, competitive positioning, and business objectives.

  • Provide marketbased inputs rather than transactional pricing ownership, ensuring clarity of roles between Product Marketing and Product Management.

Channel and Partner Enablement
  • Ensure accurate, differentiated product and portfolio representation across distribution and catalog partners

  • Support partner training and joint marketing initiatives to improve portfolio visibility and demand generation.

  • Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track product marketing KPIs such as launch effectiveness, sales adoption, pipeline influence, and win/loss insights.

  • Use performance data and feedback to continuously refine portfolio positioning, messaging, and gotomarket execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Marketing or Business (masters degree preferred).

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in power electronics, telecommunications infrastructure or a related industry, including experience launching and positioning technical products for telecom customers.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of power conversion, distribution and energy storage technologies used in Telecommunications.

  • Demonstrated success developing go to market strategies, product positioning and messaging that differentiate products in competitive markets.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills with experience leading cross functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with an ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.

  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product and marketing strategies.
