Job Description

Position Summary

Volunteers play an essential role in supporting the mission of Saint Anthony Hospital. They assist staff, patients, visitors, and the community by providing customer service, administrative support, hospitality, or program-specific duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide directions and escort individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, phone calls, or organizing materials.
  • Support events, programs, or activities as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational policies at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients, visitors, and fellow volunteers.
  • Report any concerns, incidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 16 years; with parental consent.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 4 hours a day.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Completion of background check, health screening, orientation and training.

Time Commitment

  • Flexible scheduling available.

Training & Support

  • Orientation and training will be provided.
  • Ongoing support and supervision by Patient Experience Manager.
