Product Assembler at ADVANCED MACHINE & ENGINEERING CO – Rockford, Illinois

Advanced Machine & Engineering is a diversified manufacturing company that designs, builds, & delivers carbide sawing systems, custom work holding solutions, & automation solutions for a variety of industries. We are looking for a full-time Product Assembler for our Tool Clamping Systems division at AME.

Position Responsibilities:

· Assemble products and components following work instructions, drawings, and specifications

· Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment as required

· Verify parts and materials prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and quality

· Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards

· Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or missing components

· Complete required production and quality documentation

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

· Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements

· Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma/GED required

Experience: Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

Skills:

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Basic mechanical aptitude

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

· Proficiency with hand and power tools

· Strong attention to detail and quality

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good time management and reliability

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
