OVERVIEW
The Pilates Instructor delivers safe, engaging fitness classes for WAC members and their guests. This role fosters positive relationships with participants, maintains a clean and well-stocked environment, and provides excellent day-to-day member service.
Group Pilates Reformer Class Schedule: 7am to 6pm, Weekends 10am
Pay: $65/hr
Pt, less than 30 hrs/week.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan and lead innovative, engaging, and challenging Pilates classes that keep participants motivated and involved
· Provide personalized attention to members, including sharing information about other WAC programs and making referrals; address member complaints promptly and work with the Manager/Coordinator to resolve them.
· Maintain accurate participation and attendance records and ensure participant safety.
· Attend coach staff meetings and collaborate with the Manager/Coordinator and team to model WAC values and support its mission and vision.
· Enforce health and safety guidelines and respond to emergencies, including 2324 calls, CPR, and First Aid.
· Seek and respond to feedback while helping monitor and improve WAC’s athletic programs in collaboration with leadership and teammates.
· Monitor attendance, equipment usage, and storage during and after classes to maintain a clean, organized studio.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of successful fitness coaching experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· CPR Certification
· NASM Fitness Trainer Certification
· Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
Requirements:
