Job Description
Position Summary
The tooling lathe machinist will operate industrial devices that generate tooling fixtures. Essential skills are technical knowledge, setting up, and operating a CNC machine. While maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be an experienced machinist with at least 3-years experience working at journey level
- Bridgeport and manual lathe machining experience required.
- Expertise in CNC or Profile
- Working familiarity with shop planning/tooling
- Experience/knowledge applicable to fixturing/tooling applications

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Certification from an accredited technical college a plus
- Minimum 3 years of progressive milling experience as journey level.
- Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required Skills
- Possess basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary knowledge of engineering principals helpful
- Ability to read blueprints, follow work order and verbal instructions
- Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
