Role Overview
Are you a skilled CNC machinist with a passion for precision and innovation? We’re seeking an experienced professional with strong 5-axis machining expertise and hands-on CAM programming skills to join our state-of-the-art Redmond facility.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to operate advanced machinery, program complex parts, and bring high-precision components to life. The ideal candidate thrives on technical challenges, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement, confidently balancing both machine operation and CAM programming responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Operate and program 5-axis CNC machines to create precision, prototype, and one-off components
- Develop and optimize CAM programs in Siemens NX for complex, multi-axis machining
- Translate 3D models and technical drawings into innovative machining strategies
- Choose the right tools and cutting parameters to balance quality, speed, and efficiency
- Perform in-process inspections and adjust setups for flawless results
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and implement quick, effective solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and prototyping teams on new product development
- Tackle daily hands-on challenges in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC machining Proficiency in CAM programming, specifically with Siemens NX Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T Experience in aerospace or satellite component manufacturing is a plus!
