Overview
Talantage, LLC is seeking an experienced Decision Support Administrator – Advanced to support the user community in leveraging business intelligence tools for workforce and economic reporting.
This role provides technical expertise in querying databases, developing reports, monitoring OLAP systems, and ensuring interoperability, security, and performance of enterprise-wide reporting solutions.
The position is remote and managed by FloridaCommerce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support users in the use of business intelligence and reporting tools to query databases and generate report outputs.
  • Assist customers with OLAP tools, including data extraction and report writing.
  • Review and optimize queries for performance improvements.
  • Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain user documentation and reporting standards.
  • Monitor customer usage and manage upgrades of enterprise-wide OLAP query/reporting tools.
  • Oversee batch queries, ensuring system interoperability and security across front-end components.
  • Maintain metadata coordination and support production BI systems.

  • Analyze large datasets to forecast employment needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
Policy Evaluation & Impact Assessment
  • Assess workforce program impacts and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Technical Reporting & Communication
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Collaboration & Project Management
  • Manage research/reporting projects from design through delivery.
  • Collaborate with state agencies, educational institutions, and industry partners.
  • Survey methodologies and longitudinal program analysis.
Skills
  • Advanced research and econometric modeling.
  • Data cleaning, integration, and analysis of large administrative datasets.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation abilities.
  • Database management and visualization expertise.
Abilities
  • Interpret complex data for policy development.
  • Communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Work independently under tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    OR
  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including:
    • 5 years in business intelligence tools/systems
      and/or
    • 5 years in economic/statistical analysis
Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully complete a Level 2 background screening including fingerprinting.
