Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Oversee and manage staff, including drivers, movers, and warehouse personnel. Provide training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure team productivity and cohesion.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan, schedule, and dispatch crews for residential and commercial moves. Ensure efficient routes, timely deliveries, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and solutions-oriented. Maintain strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of moving equipment, vehicles, and supplies. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
• Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing the operations budget. Monitor expenses and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety protocols, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and insurance requirements.
• Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational costs. Provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and the successful completion of moves.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in the moving, transportation, or similar industry.
