Transportation Project Engineer Responsibilities: (Included, but not limited to)
· Serve as a key member of our Transportation team
· Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on technical direction and quality control
· Contribute to high-impact public/private roadway & transportation projects
· Responsible for preparing construction documents
· Supporting the design & delivery of public infrastructure projects
· Review and interpret engineering drawings, field data, and survey information
· Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and permitting submittals
· Core responsibilities include preparing plans, reports, maps, drawings, cross-sections, and specifications associated with roadway, drainage, and traffic control improvements
Requirements:Requirements/Qualifications for the Transportation Project Engineer:
· Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
· Must have: Engineer Intern (E.I. / E.I.T.) certification; P.E. license preferred or in progress
· Must have: Proficiency with Bentley design software (Power InRoads and OpenRoads Designer)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in roadway/transportation design
· Candidates with additional experience beyond the minimum are strongly encouraged to apply
· Strong working knowledge of general civil engineering principles
· Excellent analytical and technical writing skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
