SUMMARY: AIP is seeking a Human Resources Generalist Associate to join the Talent & Culture team. This role provides essential support across several core Talent & Culture functions, including benefitsadministration, records management, recruiting and onboarding, talent management reporting, employee engagement, and special projects. Reporting to the Talent & Culture Officer, this position serves as a key operational partner for the team and will collaborate closely with the Talent Management Senior Specialist and the Operations & Rewards Director. The role is ideal for a highly skilled, organized, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys learning across multiple areas of HR.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support the overall employee experience through hands on HR activities that directly impact employee engagement, satisfaction, and wellbeing.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, providing timely and helpful guidance related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace practices.
- Coordinate and manage onboarding activities to ensure new employees feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to begin their roles successfully.
- Lead recruiting efforts for all intern positions.
- Provide responsive and accurate support to both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
- Participate in and lead sessions in employee meetings, actively engage with employees across the organization, and help plan and lead employee engagement activities/events throughout the year.
- Accurately enter and maintain employee data in ADP Workforce Now, carefully reviewing and validating information against source documentation and established guidelines.
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, engagement initiatives, benefits administration, offboarding, and retirement transitions.
- Review and verify detailed monthly invoicing related to benefits programs and service providers.
- Maintain and update Talent & Culture team project activities in Monday.com, ensuring accurate tracking, visibility, and transparency of project progress across the team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist within a midsize or complex organization.
- Solid understanding of benefits administration, including familiarity with federal and state regulations affecting HR practices.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while quickly building relationships and effectively engaging with employees at all levels, both in-person and virtually.

COMPENSATION: $66,660.00 - $73,326.00

AIP embraces a flexible hybrid work environment to balance in-person collaborative work with remote work. The team works in a flexible, hybrid schedule and reports to our offices in College Park, Maryland and Washington, DC, as needed. Employees are required to reside in the DC Metro regions of Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.
