Title: General Clerk
Location: ON SITE at Coprorate Office, Waldorf, MD
Employment Type: Full-Time/Mon-Fri/8-5a
Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour
Position Summary
The General Clerk provides administrative and clerical support for National Transcript Copy (NTC) operations, ensuring accurate processing, handling, and tracking of official transcript requests and related documentation. This role supports government workflows requiring attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to established procedures and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, review, and process National Transcript Copy (NTC) requests in accordance with established policies and proceduresAccurately input, update, and maintain records within agency databases and tracking systemsSort, log, copy, scan, and electronically file transcripts and supporting documentationPerform quality control checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting of transcript copy materialsPrepare correspondence, forms, and internal documentation related to transcript requestsOrder requested Transcripts and ExhibitsTrack request status, deadlines, and fulfillment completion to ensure timely deliveryMaintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive and/or personally identifiable information (PII)Support audits, reporting, and data validation efforts as requiredCommunicate professionally with internal staff and authorized external stakeholdersPerform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned in support of NTC operationsRequired Qualifications
Associate’s degree or HigherMinimum of 1 year of clerical or administrative experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to accurately enter data and manage records in electronic systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow written procedures and work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional communication skills (written and verbal)Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting government, court, legal, or records management operationsFamiliarity with transcript processing, document control, or records management systemsExperience handling sensitive or confidential informationAbility to meet contract‑specific background investigation or suitability requirementsWork Environment & Schedule
Office-based position in Waldorf, MDStandard business hours; alternative schedules may be required based on contract needsFast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment requiring accuracy and consistencyScan to Apply
