About This Position
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that both incoming materials and finished products meet established quality standards. This role focuses on performing inspections throughout the production process and prior to shipment, following defined procedures and working under the supervision of the Manufacturing Operations Manager in Bensalem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and supervisor guidance to perform inspections
- Review documentation, select proper measuring tools, and determine appropriate inspection methods
- Conduct first article inspections, verifying critical dimensions and ensuring parts meet tolerance requirements
- Report non-conforming results and collaborate with supervisors to support corrective actions
- Perform ongoing in-process inspections using AQL standards, tracking trends and assisting production teams with quality improvements
- Complete final inspections of finished products and document any discrepancies or rejections
- Inspect incoming materials and vendor-supplied components to confirm compliance with specifications
- Contribute to quality-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Calibrate measuring instruments and maintain accurate calibration records
- Assist with documentation related to calibration and quality procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in inspection, machining, assembly, or field service
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating across departments preferred
- Hydraulic systems experience is a plus
