This role sits at the center of a fast-paced SaaS organization, ensuring commercial agreements are structured, negotiated, and executed with precision and efficiency. You will manage the full contract lifecycle across a high volume of SaaS, vendor, and commercial agreements, playing a key role in enabling revenue growth and operational scalability. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Legal teams, you will help accelerate deal velocity while protecting business interests. The environment is highly collaborative and dynamic, requiring strong business judgment and responsiveness. You will also contribute to building scalable contracting systems, including templates, playbooks, and CLM optimization. - Own and manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for commercial agreements, including SaaS subscription contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and amendments, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contractual terms directly with customers and vendors, resolving issues in real time and escalating to legal counsel when necessary.
- Serve as the primary contract expert for Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams, providing guidance to support deal progression and reduce cycle time.
- Develop and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, fallback positions, and playbooks to standardize and streamline contracting practices.
- Identify inefficiencies in contracting workflows and lead initiatives to enhance processes, improve scalability, and support business growth.
- Support cross-functional alignment to ensure contracts are structured to meet legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- 7+ years of experience in contracts management or a related legal/commercial role, supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of SaaS contracting concepts, including subscription models, SLAs, DPAs, indemnification, and limitation of liability clauses.
- Hands-on experience using contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, with the ability to manage high-volume contract workflows independently.
- Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal language into clear, business-friendly guidance for stakeholders and customers.
- Strong drafting capabilities and experience collaborating cross-functionally across business and legal teams.
- Nice to have: experience with Ironclad, Salesforce or integrated CLM-CRM environments, and working with global or international stakeholders.
- Competitive base salary ranging from 125,000 to 135,000 USD annually.
