Summary:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and manage press room operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring high product quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to production schedules while meeting customer specifications and company performance metrics. The ideal candidate will bring strong supervisory experience, process improvement knowledge, and the ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced environment.

As a Production Supervisor, You Will:

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure high-quality output and cost-effective performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
• Monitor and improve production processes to reduce inefficiencies and operational costs
• Prepare and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and workflow
• Oversee maintenance scheduling to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency
• Analyze production data to improve output and reduce material waste
• Participate in production and management meetings to support operational decisions
• Communicate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Complete documentation and follow up on safety incidents and reports
• Report safety concerns and support corrective actions as needed
• Communicate departmental issues and employee concerns to leadership
• Review and verify employee timekeeping and production reporting accuracy
• Hold team members accountable for performance and reporting standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and production operations
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Experience in printing, bindery, or graphic arts environment
• Technical or trade school background
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently
• Frequent walking, reaching, and handling required
• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, chemicals, and inks
• Use of required PPE including hearing protection and safety footwear
