Behavioral Health Specialist II -PHP at Holyoke Medical Center – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Holyoke Medical Center is looking to hire a Behavioral Health Specialist II for our PHP/IOP Programs!

* To facilitate group therapy focused on mental health and substance use for adults in the PHP and IOP level of care.

* To provide case management services and link patients with aftercare/discharge planning.

* To provide intakes/psychosocial assessments for incoming patients.

* Ability to work with patients with co-occurring mental illness and substance use.

* To complete insurance verifications/reviews.

* To complete paperwork in a timely and organized fashion.

* To participate in multidisciplinary weekly treatment team meetings.

Level of education required: M.Ed., M.A, M.S., MSW, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. In addition, must hold LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Psychologist within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;

Two years within clinical specialty, with at least one year in psychiatric crisis intervention, inpatient social work; PHP/IOP setting desirable.
