Position Overview

The Area Manager is responsible for the supervision and execution of cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who can motivate and manage a diverse team, maintain accountability, and ensure excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cleaning operations across a multi-location territory.
• Assign and schedule team members to ensure full coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards and address issues proactively.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing staff, ensuring consistency in performance.
• Hold team members accountable for attendance, quality of work, and adherence to company policies.
• Work with a diverse team—manage different personalities, work styles, and backgrounds effectively.
• Ensure reliability and consistency in service across all locations.
• Organize, plan, and meet operational goals while maintaining budgetary requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• A hardworking, responsible, and dependable leader with a strong work ethic.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in custodial services, facility maintenance, or a similar field.
• Excellent people management skills—must be able to lead and support a diverse workforce.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in quality control, performance management, and training.
• A commitment to maintaining high service standards and reliability across all locations.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (Day & Night Shifts Available)
• Work Location: Multiple sites across Virginia Beach & Norfolk
• Requires travel between locations
