Position Summary:
To work as a UNM Lifeguard you must maintain patronsurveillance of the facility while enforcing rules and regulationseffectively as directed by the University and State of New MexicoEnvironment Department. Must be able to: spot dangers andpotential hazards to prevent serious injury or accident; control andreport unruly behavior; maintain accurate detailed documentation ofheadcount, first aid practices and others; perform cleaning duties. Must actimmediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of anemergency. Must provide emergency care and treatment as a team as set byAmerican Red Cross standards and procedures.
